Objectives
EQSN focuses exclusively on co-location, hosting,
bandwidth supply and the managed service provision surrounding
it. We provide the services required to maintain, support and
manage computer systems reliant on connection to the Internet.
Historically the roots of the company are as an Internet pioneer
from the early nineties, delivering Internet and connectivity
solutions to business. Involved in the provision of quality service
and meeting service level agreements we have a technical team
of top quality. Whilst founded in 2000 we are company born out
of experience in network management, customer service management
and IT facilities management.
The company is proud to stress that our focus is in co-location,
hosting, bandwidth supply and managed services. We do not get
involved in web development, application development or other
non-core activities. Customers can be confident that we do not
breach their areas of delivery.
EQSN will look after the infrastructure and technological aspects
of your business thereby releasing you to focus on core business
and maximise your business potential.

Objectives
EQSN's key objective is to become the UK's leading Independent
Specialist Co-Location and Hosting provider.
All of our efforts are focused on achieving this. We do not plan
to, and will never divert from this goal. We will not diversify
into areas which take us out of this specialism.

levels of risk reduction which will further guarantee the continuing
availability of servers hosted with EQSN.

EQSN Firsts
EQSN claims many firsts in Scotland and we retain leadership in
the market
2003
November : EQSN launches the Acorn programme, a benefits
initiative for software developers, new media companies and those
involved in delivering Internet-based solutions for their clients.
September : EQSN sponsors the W@W (Winners at the Web)
2003 category for Best Small Business. Following from previous
years EQSN is proud to participate in the W@W awards.
July : EQSN connects a fibre backbone between its Edinburgh
and Glasgow datacentres. It is now possible to benefit from the
multiple telcos at each site, offering resilience and cost benefits.
April : EQSN establishes co-location from within BT datacentre
in Glasgow, offering clients increased options, enhanced failover
and disaster recovery options.
First Scottish company to provide multi-location specialist environments
for servers. Both Glasgow and Edinburgh data-centres with triangulated
bandwidth supplies provide even more resilience and security for
customers.
2002
First company to join the TTX (Telecomms Trading eXchange), run
by Band-X and developed by Scottish Enterprise, providing resilient
bandwidth at substantially reduced costs to Scotland.
2001
First provider in Scotland to implement BGP-4 resilient, multi-homed
bandwidth supply.
2000
First Independent specialist server co-location provider in Scotland.
